Peter turned 9 on August 4th.  I asked him to tell me what he thinks about being 9 and here's what he said, along with a great photo of my boy.

Butterfly in Our Yard

This beautiful butterfly was in the flowers that are in the pots on my deck. I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped all the photo I could before it flew away. Of course, I couldn't wait to make a LO with the shots.

Digital Scrapaholics Anonymous

There is a cool new Facebook page for all of the digital scrapbookers out there. You can find it HERE. You can show off your LOs or new products if you're a designer or on a CT. They also have LO of the week and monthly challenges. The monthly challenge for July was using a template from Roadside Designs .

Another Disney LO and a Cool Action

Here's another LO from our recent trip down to Disney. Peter was hooked this year on Disney pins.

I used an action I recently bought from Atomic Cupcake called Alcohol Ink. I used the action to help create the ribbon at the bottom of the LO. It's a really cool .

Class at Renee Pearson and a new LO!

Hike at Hawk Mountain LO

On Sunday our Cub Scout Pack went on a hike at Hawk Mountain in Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful day and the views from the mountain was AWESOME!

Latest LO

My latest LO of my son. This one is some of my favorite pictures of his younger years. (He's 81/2 now.) When I look at his pictures from back then, I always smile at that sweet face of his. Knowing that those years are gone brings a tear to my eyes. Thank goodness for pictures.

River Clean Up

I took Peter and his friend Mark to the Musconetcong River Clean Up. They do this clean up every year. Our Cub Scout Pack always participates. The boys enjoyed cleaning up all the litter along the road near the river. It's just so sad when you see all the trash that people carelessly leave by the river.

Clown Shoes??!!

We went sneaker shopping the other day. Peter's sneakers were so worn out, it was time for a new pair. He picked out some red and black Sketchers. I looked at the Rocket Dogs. I bought a pair of Rocket Dogs last summer and I love them. I saw this great blue plaid pair. And, of course, they had my size. My husband thinks these are the ugliest shoes in the world. He even called them clown shoes. I bought them anyway. They're my feet. Besides, they look so cute with a pair of jeans.

Stinky Tree

I created this LO for one of my Spraguemates. Lisa (Latz) was accepted in the Little Dreamer Apprentice Program. I created a LO using her kit, Spring Forest. This LO is made about the Flowering Pear Tree in my front yard. It's a beautiful tree but when it blooms it smells awful!

Easter Flowers

Here is a LO of the red tulips I received from my sister-in-law last Easter. I have no idea what I did with the bulbs. This year I received beautiful yellow tulips. I'll be planting them around my tree tomorrow.

At least I've finally started this whole blog process.
